We took a look here while on vacation. A very typical restaurant with a classic regulars' table.
The worst service I've ever experienced in my entire life. My partner and I live abroad; I'm German, she isn't. We're here on vacation and thought we'd go to a restaurant so she could try German cuisine. Naturally, I translated the things she didn't understand, and when the waitress served us and spoke to my partner, I told her she didn't understand and that I was translating for her. From that dreaded moment on, the waitress glared at my partner constantly, and every time she passed the table, she stared at her and spoke to her in German, trying to make her uncomfortable. I spoke to the waitress during these moments, asking her to leave my partner alone, but she didn't care. How someone can ruin someone's day like that for absolutely no reason is beyond me. I advise anyone with even 0.000001% foreign ancestry or who speaks a language other than German to absolutely avoid this place. The food was acceptable, but to make matters worse, it was also expensive.

Very good and plentiful food. Home-style cooking, fresh salads, and super friendly service. We felt completely at home after our trip to this quaint country restaurant and would definitely return again!
