Our last v... read more Today we wanted to visit Stevan and Doreen in their restaurant Mediterrano again. The two have gained a good reputation in the Schneverdingen region. Our last visit is a bit back. The food has always been very good. Even today we were not disappointed. It was a good evening. Service We came to the restaurant and were kindly greeted by Doreen with embrace. Stevan was free that night. We were led to a corner table with the sun in the back. A serving force brought us the menus and kindly picked up the drinks. A special request was received with a smile and immediately fulfilled. There was a Julischka in advance.In the meantime, it was repeatedly asked if everything is okay. After dinner, it was asked if we could do something good. Espresso, Desert etc. The service was very attentive. We were well looked after this evening. Food The menu has 7 pages with a clear focus on meat dishes. The beverage card includes 3 pages. We chose the following dishes: Scampi in garlic oil with fresh herbs and garlic bread, Hawaii steak (grilled turkey steak with pineapple, sauce Hollandaise, baked with cheese, croquets and salad) and mushroom steak (rump steak, juicy grilled with fresh roasted mushrooms and onions, roasted potatoes and salads) The scampis were prepared on the spot. In combination with the garlic oil, the fresh herbs and the warm garlic bread, this was a great pleasure. The side salad (white wort, tomato, chicoree, prey, red wort and onions) was wonderfully fresh and was made with a cream yogurt dressing. Delicious. The turkey steak was nicely thin, yet it was wonderfully juicy. In combination with the pineapple of the sauce Hollandaise and the cheese it tasted very good. The croquettes are nice crispy and not greasy. The Rumpsteak was prepared on the point medium, nicely juicy. The frying potatoes cut nicely thin and fried crispy. That's how to be roast potatoes. Speck and onions as well as the fresh mushrooms rounded off an excellent meal. Ambiente The entire restaurant is decorated in Mediterranean colours. The floor is tiled and can be easily kept clean. The seating is covered with red artificial leather. The tables are made of brown wood. On the tables are placed sets of paper on which some suggestions are offered for the conclusion (coffee, espresso and desserts). Furthermore, cutlery, salt and pepper shakers and a wind light are placed on the tables. On the walls are hanging pictures and mirrors that round off the ambience. The ceiling and wall lamps gave off a warm light. A pleasantly discreet lighting. Cleanliness Cleanliness was unmissable and perfect. Everything is so aligned that the tables can be cleaned quickly and easily and prepared for the next guest. The sanitary area is also very clean and easy to reach. Price/Performance good

The food was serve... read more Very good kitchen and service. We were received very nicely by the staff. A table reservation should be made. We were 8 and had a nice place. The food was served after a short time, only the salad and then the main dish at the same time. All dishes were very rich and tasty from the portions. All in all a nice restaurant we will definitely visit again. Recommendation 5 stars. Addendum August. We were there again and everything was PERFECT. We like to come back!
