The BBQ burger was the worst burger I ever had: raw thick slices of onion, the cheese had no taste, bread was dry and BBQ sauce from the supermarket. The worst... read more The BBQ burger was the worst burger I ever had: raw thick slices of onion, the cheese had no taste, bread was dry and BBQ sauce from the supermarket. The worst was the meat, which was a thin, completely overcooked and chewy patty (probably ready made and directly from the freezer . I had one bite and couldn’t force myself to finish it. Fries and coleslaws were ok but far from good and again the sauce was an industrial and not homemade. The other meals were as bad as mine and not worth the money (16 Eur for the buger! . In any case avoid to eat here.

Of course, after walking... read more The Schachtenburgbar is a small, very cozy restaurant and cocktail bar. We had the table opposite the bar, right next to the fireplace. Of course, after walking through the cold November rain on the way to the restaurant, this was the best place we could get ! We particularly recommend the schnitzel dishes, the fresh wheat beer as well as the cocktails and the specialties offered by the local Schlitzer distillery ! Despite the good crowd, the waiting time for the food was short and the staff was attentive and friendly
