A small map with 4 main dishes was compiled in advan... read more Due to the general enthusiasm for the house we chose it for our Christmas celebration with about 25 people. A small map with 4 main dishes was compiled in advance, a fish dish Roulade with claws pink roasted duck breast and a vegetarian dish. The dishes were presented very appealing and served almost at the same time, the service was friendly. Unfortunately, however, neither the Roulade nor the Entenbrust were able to convince qualitatively and not only with one person but unisono. In our overall evaluation, the vegetarian dish was still tastefully able to score a wrap of pale vinegar with spinach and forest mushrooms. The portion sizes were now moderate. The head of the house was also addressed, except for references to the type of preparation or the possibly also inadequate quality of the just delivered meat, to which he has no influence, but puffed the criticism. A nice gesture would have been here to offer a drink at the expense of the house as compensation. It is of the opinion whether you now personally appreciate the ambience or feel more reminiscent of a Scandinavian sauna in the wood-clad guest rooms, but with regard to the taste and quality of the food and, in particular, taking into account the expectations, the evening was rather disappointing. Too bad.

Instead, the host came out of the kitche... read more As a person with a long list of allergies and intolerances, I had already set myself to one serving of pommes as usual. Instead, the host came out of the kitchen promptly as soon as he took questions on the preparation of the dishes. He went through the map detail, told willingly about the ingredients and made directly suggestions for changes to fit my list. The pommes were long forgotten and I was allowed to enjoy pink fried lamb carcase on lactose-free herbal risotto with fried radicchio. The whole table was brightly inspired by the quality of food as well as the quality and excellent professionalism of the service. The host and chef came to the table to ask for the satisfaction of his guests. The ambience is magical. Cleanliness in all rooms impressive. Thank you for this experience! We'll definitely be back! I'll still dream about this lamb and the risotto.
