My wife selected one of the daily specials (venison)... read more We've often eaten at the Post over the years, and we will be returning. Last week we dropped in for lunch. My wife selected one of the daily specials (venison) and was very pleased, especially with the sauce, preceded by an excellent cabbage salad. I chose the business lunch, a field salad with one, lonely prawn, followed by pork fillet (a rather small portion) with croquette potatoes and vegetables. We both had the crème caramel dessert. Lunch was accompanied by a good Corbières house wine. The price / value ratio was fine, more so for the daily special than for the business lunch. Service was efficient and friendly, as always with the Heubergers, and the dining room was pleasantly decorated with well-spaced tables.
