Cafe Treff Backerei

We called here for rolls and cakes. They have baked a wide selection of dishes in the house. Prices are also good for the area.

It is a bakery with extra cafe (meeting meeting) It is located on the hill of Scheffau village and a short walk from the main road between Söll and Ellmau. It's not easy at all, which may be due to the fact that it's quite empty... when we fell in. It's pretty pretty. We had the ubiquitous goulash soup pleasant enough, maybe a little missing in paprika. Good bread, probably her main earner.

Very atmospheric waitress basically ignored me, so I went out. Cakes looked old. Too bad she couldn't be disturbed.

It isn't handy at all, which may account for it being pretty much empty when we dropped in. It's rather nice, though. We had the ubiquitous Gulaschsuppe - pleasant enough, perhaps a bit lacking in paprika. Good bread, which is probably their main earner.
