Village Tavern Grill - Schaumburg

Came here to a recommendation from a friend who lives in the neighbourhood and glad that we decided to try it. it is definitiw a place, but felt very welcome and comfortable. they have bar and table seats. it is a great place to see a game as they have tvs everywhere. in relation to the pandemic, masks are required to enter, all employees had on mask, social distancing was at place and place and each table had hand sanitizer available. also during our visit we saw them disinfecting a table. for the food they are known for their chicken fingers, but each dish we had good. the chicken tsartes were broken light, fluffy and buttery and their honey scab was delicious. they have made various sauces available, but our friend recommended her honey. we shared this as an appetizer, the court is 6 pieces. for the escape my friend ordered her full ribbed plate, which was a special (on Saturday). I'm not a rib person, but that was so good! I recommend these about the chicken finger to be honest. they were perfectly cooked! charged outside and so soft it came from the bone. I'd rather have more grill sauce, but it doesn't matter to be a little chaotic. the ribs came with a selection of suppe or salat and we tried their chicken and rice soup that was a broth and that was so good! we were not sure what to expect as we use to creamy turkey soup. I ordered a BLT sandwich that was delicious. I know super basic only a blt, but they did not jump on the speck and the speck was perfectly cooked and had taste. our waitress was so great! She was very friendly and checked us again and again. she stood on our afterfill and before we got the ribs, she brought us a basket for the bones, additional serviettes and wet wipes. I'm not sure if this is something they usually do or if she did, either as we appreciate it! I recommend to stop when they are in the area or request good suppe or ripen.

Just ordered take out and it was amazing! I was worried the quality wouldn’t be there because we weren’t eating in person but the food held up great. We got salmon and baked potato and the sampler platter. Huge portions, tons of sauce options, and everything was super tasty. Definitely hit the spot and will be ordering again soon.

Came here with a party of 3 and we watched the NBA Finals here. Really nice bar to go to for some drinks and quick bites as you watch any of the TVs they have placed around the room. Staff was really nice and cheered with us at the very end of the night. You can download an app to queue songs into the mixer which was really fun to mess around with. Overall really nice place to go for those in the Schaumburg area

This was the best stack of Pub nachos in years. You wouldn't think there is an art, but there is. The chips are big and crisp enough to hold all the yummy layers. The chili was excellent, cheese plentiful and spread throughout. They loose one start on the sangria. It was just ok and it took ordering it three times to get it. The service was not-enough-servers slow (not their fault) but very friendly.

Our= party of 6 enjoyed good service and very good tavern food. The Reuben, Cuba, and hamburgers were enjoyed. The ribs were said to be delicious. We were each served a lot of food for a reasonable price. Convenient, free parking available. A good, local place for lunch.
