My daughter and I had a late lunch here yesterday. We shared both hot rock dishes, the tuna and filet mignon. They were delicious! Tip for slow eaters, cook your meat to taste quickly, the rocks lose their heat eventually. Then we shared the rainbow rolls. While the food was great, our server was excellent! Jess heard my daughter tease me about being unable to use chop sticks, so she came over with a specially design... View all feedback.
What Trevor Kihn doesn't like about Tokio Pub:
Made two reservations for a table of 3 and a table of 4. Had to wait 15-30 mins to be seated and order. Very frustrating. Seems they didn't hold a spot for reservations and had a private party. Should not have accepted our two reservations if they could not accommodate. No free drink or dessert were offered. Food was ok. Very loud restaurant! View all feedback.
Was sick the next day, very disappointed as we have been here for a while. the server 5 minutes to come to our table when there was only one other table.
Our server breany was fantastic. the bang calamari was very good. the tempura garnels were disappointing as they put the crispy garnels in the nude shell and made them tender.
I celebrated my birthday and our server was great. everyone was nice, but I appreciated their food recommendations.
We almost didnât dine here since many previous reviews mentioned the extremely slow service. We had a later reservation, and chose to give it a shot! We had a great experience, and were so thrilled to see the Buffalo chicken bao buns back on the menu! Food and drinks were delicious! Overall, we were in and out in an hour!
Hit them on a Saturday night before a movie. It was not crowded. Food quality is still not where it used to be 3 years ago. Our food came out luke warm and we waited a long time in between getting our pot stickers appetizer and the main dishes. My rainbow roll was bland and they used imitation crabmeat. The menu said it was crab but it was not and you'd expect it to be real because they share a kitchen with Shaw's Crab House. Even our beignets were barely warm. The bright spot on the menu and meal was the soy ginger chicken with fried ramen noodles. Not in a rush to return.
