The Chicken Bacon Avocado sandwich was delicious! I’m not normally a chicken-sandwich person, but the chicken was juicy and only lightly breaded (which I prefer). It was our first visit to a Shake Shack after hearing hype about it from locals. My husband got the hamburger and thought it was so-so. (Five Guys is better)As we ate inside we saw an employee actively disinfecting the tables and other high touch surfaces. W... View all feedback.
What Lauren C doesn't like about Shake Shack Schaumburg:
This place is overrated and overpriced. You're basically paying for the laidback cool backyard ambiance. The portions are super tiny. For 2 kids and 2 adults it was $57 for 4 drinks, 3 burgers, and a hot dog. No fries. And the burgers were meh. Nothing special. Also I ordered a gluten free bun and the burger wasn't marked GF. Luckily I can spot a GF bun a mile away, but this is not an allergy-friendly place. I give i... View all feedback.
Food was great , but they should have some salad and vegetables as well not only burger and chicken sandwiches. Also their burgers are very small.
Look, it's a fine burger and fries, but it is way overpriced. Two burgers, two fries, two drinks, and a six piece nuggets was $45. I could have gone one plaza over to Smashburger and gotten comparable food for 2/3 the cost, or across the street to Kuma's and gotten better burgers (and more food overall) for about the same price. Flavor-wise, Shake Shack is on par with similar fast-casual-ish burger joints like Five Guys or Smashburger, but it really doesn't offer enough extra quality, service, or pizzazz to justify the considerable price difference.
Burger 4/5. Chicken Sandwich 5/5. Fries could be bigger 3.7/5. Drinks were bomb 5/5. Good ambiance, good music and big area. Total $40 ehh
