While many families appreciate the friendly service and healthy kids' menu options, others have reported long waits despite reservations, mediocre food quality, and inattentive staff. Although the ambiance is designed for enjoyment, some guests feel that chaotic play from children can detract from the dining experience. Overall, while it provides a fun setting for kids and parents alike, diners may find that service and food quality do not always meet expectations.
I had trouble getting a table at this restaurant and it seemed disorganized. However, I did enjoy the balloon makers. The coconut shrimp was cold and chewy, but my taco salad was delicious as always. Our waiter, Angel, was very helpful. It's a shame that the location is closing after tomorrow. Overall, it was a unique experience.
We will miss it. The restaurant opened in October 1995 and closed on January 1, 2020. It was one of the original Rainforest Cafes.
The last time I was at your restaurant was about twenty years ago. This time I brought my six year ole niece. We really enjoyed ourselves. I am looking for a Kimberly street sign. I was not successful finding this at the Woodfield location. I will try the Chicago location. Kim
The restaurant is kid-friendly and children enjoy the experience, but the food is average at best.
