The New Yorker who wrote a negative review should return to NYC and enjoy their dollar pizza, because Old Town serves up fantastic slices and even better whole pies, all done Chicago-style. The pizza here is genuinely good, and the staff are great too. It's an awesome pizza place!
The service is carry-out only, with no dine-in option. However, the staff was friendly and even provided directions to a nearby park that has benches. They generously included paper plates, napkins, and plastic utensils at no extra charge. As it was my first time in Chicago and trying Chicago-style pizza, I would definitely return to this place.
A Local Pizzeria… I ordered a slice and a can of soda. I can't complain—it's a great deal!
