Lalo's Mexican Schaumburg

Lalo's has good food and a great atmosphere. A great date night spot whether inside or in the outdoor patio. The bar area is fun at night as well.

Yeah delicious. I'll get the steak fajitas next time. Flauntas were bomb. Steak Burritto bomb. Flan bomb. Peach Margarita pitcher bomb. Ambiance bomb.

Food was great but service was pretty slow. Wasn't busy either so not sure if they are short staffed or if she just kept forgetting about our table.

This family owned restaurant has been around for a very long time and it's still a good restaurant to go have lunch or dinner. I just don't think that they are as good as they used to be years ago. The food is average at best and the service is good. The biggest thing that they concentrate on is the liquor, to be more specific Margaritas, a big money maker for them. The parking lot is dark as well as the outside of the building, most of the bulbs were burned out. The inside is decorated nicely, to give you the impression that you're in a place down in Mexico. For years they ruled Little Village and the Chicagoland area, but somewhere along the line lost it.

Margarita, the dinner was delicious, and the atmosphere was wonderful. The waiter service was excellent. Everything would have been perfect if it weren't for the issue with the margaritas. The men received strong strawberry drinks, but the margaritas for the women were essentially just fruit with little to no alcohol—barely detectable. This feels dishonest and is quite disappointing.
