I ordered a starter with artichokes and foie gras, but was disappointed to find that the foie gras portion was small and the dish mainly consisted of artichokes. The taste combination I was expecting was not as advertised. Similarly, my main course of pheasant with pasta had too much pasta and not enough meat. Although the sauce was tasty, I felt that the price for a meal with such basic ingredients was too steep. I had higher expectations from previous visits to this restaurant where the food was more refined. On a positive note, dining in the self-service area of the cellar on weekdays is a better value for money option, which I will now choose going forward. The set menu offered during the week in the restaurant section is also a more affordable choice compared to the pricey à la carte options we selected. Overall, I find the à la carte menu to be overpriced for the quality of food served.
