I have to say Akai has the best sushi in Westchester County. What Ernesto Gomez doesn't like about Akai Lounge Scarsdale:
Came in for a late lunch/early dinner on Saturday. Atmosphere and service is good. However, sushi rice was over cooked and there was a grease film over our shrimp fried rice. Also, bathroom is dirty. Table is sticky. Garden salad didn’t come with any side dressing. Extremely slow service, average food and half of the sushi on the menu isn’t even available to order. Overcharged us for an extra drink too.
Nice location! I really like the salmon hamachi. All the roll are pretty good. I thought the Scarsdale roll was unique and the Crab one too.
I’ve been trying to find a good takeout sushi place for so long. Out of 7 restaurants I’ve tried this is the best. The texture of the salmon is so good! It’s taste fresh. Unlike all the other mushy sushi at other places.
Hands down best sushi in Westchester.Clean modern restaurant, fresh top grade sushi, and awesome service.
The food was good but the service was horrible for pick up . They got my name wrong and and were a little rude
