Although they were completely full inside and nearly full outside, we were accommodated. We kept our lunch fairly small by each having pasta, their specialty in this region of Il Mugone being a potato pasta, along with a shared bresaola dish as our first plate. Everything was perfectly prepared and delicious, especially their home-made pasta. My only quibble is that service was slow; this seemed likely due to our appearance on the late side for lunch, while every employee was already engaged in getting the crowd of guests already there ahead of us served. The staff was certainly friendly. I would definitely eat here again.

We ate twice at this lovely restaurant over the Mugello MotoGP weekend in June 2019, and despite the town of Scarperia being absolutely overflowing with visitor... read more We ate twice at this lovely restaurant over the Mugello MotoGP weekend in June 2019, and despite the town of Scarperia being absolutely overflowing with visitors, we found this place to be busy yet welcoming, frantic yet speedy and the quality of the food was great. We had the local specialty of tortelli di patate, with the ragu carne and funghi porcini both times, along with an insalata mista, and the quality of the food was fabulous, the wine was cold and the service was great during an obviously frantic time for them. Highly recommended!
