The Tunny Club - Scarborough

We wanted to go to papas fishable, but glad we didn't do it because we found this little gem that was torn off on a side street east sandgate. the small fish chip restaurant had so much character and a real sea / fishermen theme in the interior. it was nice and cozy to sit inside and have the best fish chips in scarborough. they could choose from small, medium or cuddly size shares and it was really worth for money. a restaurant worth a visit!

The service was exceptional complimentary food for the dog, put our order through and started cooking to order even though I didn’t have cash. I went and got cash during the cooking process. Food was lovely, curry sauce very good even tipped at the end for the great customer service would definitely return

Brilliant chippy just off the main road at South Beach, they do gluten free and was very aware of cross contamination lovely fish and chips! Gluten free batter was very light and crispy, will definitely go again! 5*

We always visit The Tunny Club on our day trips to Scarborough. A fantastic little fish restaurant down East Sandgate. Fish and chips are superb, they are excellent value for money and the customer service is second to none. Would not go anywhere else.

Absolutely fantastic! We have been here every time we come to Scarborough over the last 4 years and it's better every time. Eco-conscious paper trays, wooden cutlery. Catered for my coeliac child with no issues at all, absolutely amazing gluten free batter on the fish and even provided a gluten free vinegar for him. We didn't have extra wait time for the gluten free fish or even order ahead. Portion sizes are great and the quality is amazing. The staff working the orders and serving was great, very helpful, professional chippy master! Nothing was too much trouble. Will be returning every time we visit Scarborough! I can't wait to go back!
