The John Paul Jones is the Pub in the Bay holiday lets. The three young staff two young men and a young lady were extremely friendly and helpful and we were made to feel very welcome. The food was good in nice surroundings would recommend. View all feedback.

On our first night at The Bay, we decided to dine out as we were too tired to cook after arriving late. The menu options for vegetarians were limited. On our first night at The Bay, we decided to dine out as we were too tired to cook after arriving late. The menu options for vegetarians were limited. We both ordered pizzas and were shocked by the price - £30 for two pizzas! This was more expensive than some Italian restaurants. My husband also found the drinks to be overpriced at £6 for two small lime and sodas. The food was decent, but overall, the prices were high for the quality.
My family and I were pleasantly surprised by the food at this restaurant. Despite our initial concerns after reading some reviews, we found the food to be absolutely amazing. The staff were also very friendly. We all highly recommend dining here and urge you not to be discouraged by any negative reviews you may come across.
The initial impression of the restaurant was positive, but that quickly changed once the food was served. The kids' meals did not come with fries as stated on the menu, the bun on the house burger was stale and had a hair in it, and the meat was burnt to the point of being inedible. The prawn cocktail was described as the worst, cheapest, and soggiest pile of prawns and bread ever seen. The kids' ice cream did not even come with the advertised flake and chocolate sauce. Overall, the food was deemed simple but poorly executed and overpriced. It is recommended to avoid this restaurant at all costs.
Fast Food and it’s fast Ordered at the bar and before I got back to the table the food was there !! Service the young server brilliant give the lad a gold star very professional, friendly credit to any venue Food dreadful burgers dry as old sticks wouldn’t eat there again You pays your money !!! Nothing is cooked fresh leaving the kitchen within minutes tells you everything
Not too keen as it's expensive for what you get and the alcohol is the most expensive I have ever paid. The menu was great a few years ago as there was much more choice thn now. Not a great atmosphere either but would probably go again as there is liittle choice on the site.
