I had a fantastic meal at this restaurant for only £14, which included fish, chips, peas, bread, butter, and a cup of tea. The food was hot and delicious, and it was delivered promptly with generous portions. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, and the tables were cleaned quickly after each customer. I will definitely be visiting this restaurant again. View all feedback.
What Teresa Scanlon doesn't like about The Famous Fishpan:
Lovely big chunky chips and an ok piece of haddock. Hadn't realised it was dog friendly or would have gone elsewhere (I like dogs but they have no place in food establishments in my opinion). View all feedback.
The food was incredible and the service was excellent, but there was a bit of a delay with a 20-minute wait.
On the seafront. It's quite small with seating both downstairs and upstairs. Had haddock, chips and mushy peas with bread and butter and a glass of cola, which was a meal deal. It didn't disappoint. The fish was cooked perfectly as were the chips and the mushy peas were tasty. The portions were large and I couldn't finish it. I'd definitely recommend this place and there's a good view out of the window.
A firm family favourite. Fish and chips were excellent, all freshly cooked to order. Portion size was great too. Most of the indoor seating is upstairs but there are some tables downstairs too. Staff were friendly and service was quick (allowing for fresh cooking). Only mystery is: Where do you get your in house diluting juice from???? It's gorgeous
The staff we're really good, the food excellent. Probably the best fish and chips we've ever had.
Great fresh food, brilliant service! cant recommend more!
