Every sort of sour dough you can imagine, all freshly baked, baguettes particularly goo. Sweet treats are amazing too, Portuguese twist on things making it all extra special, if they haven't sold out, try one of their sausage rolls, you will be hooked View all feedback.

This cafe has outside seating as well as ground floor and upstairs room. The toilets are upstairs so not suitable for everyone. There was background music playing, not too loud. Interesting market hall and good pastries to be had in cafe and takeaway. Lovely short pastry in the tarts
Absolutely thrilled by the food here at Solange. A lovely friendly cafe serving delicious food! We chose the soup of the day and it certainly did not disappoint. I will certainly make a returning trip here as I was that impressed.
Have visited several times and have never been disappointed. Everything is fresh and tasty the bread and cakes are wonderful. A great addition to the town.
The café is actually on the town end of North Street. I visited for coffee at 10am on a Saturday morning and we were the first ones there and able to pick a table. While we waited for our order I bought a loaf of sourdough for £2. My friend had a scone which she really enjoyed. I had a pot of tea and a toasted teacake which was delicious! large and very fresh. All the prices are very reasonable for a town centre café, the staff are lovely and there's plenty of seating with more upstairs and several tables outside. I will definitely be visiting their bakery in the market now
