My husband loves to call in at this pub when visiting Scarborough. I like the pub, but I don't enjoy going there. I am always thirsty after a day's sightseeing, but I feel ripped off by the price of soft drinks. I'm the designated driver. I enjoy taking my husband to pubs so he can sample the beers but for a soft drink for me it cost nearly as much as his pint for 250ml of coke. It's not on really. Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

This place is a true paradise for real ale lovers. Make sure to visit before you kick the bucket. The owner is a gem. Prices range from £1–10 per person. Service and atmosphere both receive top marks of 5.

Whenever we are in Scarborough, we always make sure to stop by this pub! The variety of real ales they offer is always impressive, and now they also have a fantastic selection of gins to sample. It's a traditional pub with a wonderful atmosphere, filled with friendly staff and patrons.

I visited this pub over the weekend with my family and had a wonderful time. The beer selection was fantastic and the bar staff were great. The locals were also very friendly.
