I was pleasantly surprised when my aunt and uncle invited me to the Mandarin all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet for an early Thanksgiving dinner. I needed to fly back to Vancouver in a few days, so it was a nice treat to be able to spend this special occasion with my family. My aunt mentioned that it had been 10 years since we last celebrated Thanksgiving together, so it was great to see all my cousins, aunts, and uncles... View all feedback.

i went and bought 10 wings and some shrimp for 51$ the most expensive and terrible place ever. the chicken wings were supposed to be honey garlic and it was only garlic. the shrimp was tasteless and flavorless. by far worse resultant i have been...to since I came to Toronto View all feedback.
A family institution in Scarborough for many years which has continued throughout the pandemic lockdown, with a diverse and extensive menu available for take-out. Food is excellent, pricing is reasonable, telephone order experience is great. Many people are looking forward to Mandarin's inside reopening! Comments...below on table service are based on the recommencement of inside dining after July 16th.

The lovely buffet restaurant Manadarin has had to re invent itself. Unfortunately buffet style may never be back due to COVID. I thought perhaps we would not see Mandarin reopen. However they have come back with a billing concept. Small eats. You order your favourite...Manadarin favourites from a special menu and it is delivered fresh to your table. We ordered sushi, dumplings, steak, pizza, salads, noodles, desserts and much more. The dishes cost between 1.99 to 4.99. They were all good and it is a great idea. We will be back. There are over 70 small dishes to choose from. Well done Manadrin.
It is a nice place, nice atmosphere, polite waiters. The food used to be fresh, but that's years ago. This visit featured old, several times warmed up food. It was Tuesday and it looks like they cook once a week, before weekends. I might be...wrong but that's how it appeared to me. To me it is sad. Wake up guys ! We will come again, only not that often. I have dined at chinese restaurants all my life and I must say that the Mandarin ranks up there as one of the best I have ever been to. It started with the tour of the buffet with Helen. She explained all there was to...eat and what her favorites were. Then we were seated and offered warm wet towels to wash our hands. A nice touch. The buffet has over 100 delicious dishes to choose from including a Korean counter and a sushi station. What blew me away was the dessert section. Chinese restaurants are known for having a poor to non existent dessert option but not at the Mandarin. A superb selection and everything was fresh and tasty. The manager also came around to check on everyone to make sure we were happy. The wait staff was also super attentive. The atmosphere in the restaurant was also pleasing to the eye. The dining rooms and washrooms are clean and up to date. I cant say enough about this restaurant and I cant wait to visit Toronto again just so we can dine here again.
