Since we arrived a bit early and the weather was lovely, we decided to sit outside on the terrace and enjoy a drink before our meal. It was fantastic to relax in such a peaceful setting. The food was just as remarkable, and I'm struggling to think of another meal that I enjoyed as much. Being a big meat lover, I chose the mini rib fillet and brisket of beef, which was cooked to perfection. My mother opted for pork an... View all feedback.
What vicki smith doesn't like about Courtyard At Ox Pasture Hall:
What a terrible place! Could be wonderful if money was put into the upkeep of the grounds and staff. We went for afternoon tea cost GBP 25 per person. Not worth the price. For a Sunday afternoon it was empty-why? Could not find any staff member when we wanted to pay the bill? Did not get endless cups of tea and coffee as previous reviews. Wonderful setting Excellent service Rooms dated look tired Food drinks: Food was excellent. Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view
Today I went for afternoon tea it was a birthday present, sadly it was the worst afternoon tea I have had £30 each for finger sandwiches 2 of the 4 fillings we didn't eat due to not liking them. The scones were lovely but after that it went down hill fast, cakes were one bit size definitely looked like they were from Iceland party range. So sad I love a afternoon tea

The restaurant exceeded all my expectations and more. It is set in a stunning landscape, and from the restaurant, there is a beautiful view of the courtyard, which is truly idyllic. The service was excellent; we were seated promptly and attended to efficiently without feeling rushed. Our meals were served in a timely manner. The food was incredible—I couldn't get enough of it! Unfortunately, I was too full to try the sticky toffee pudding, which was disappointing! Everything was well presented, perfectly cooked, and absolutely delicious. I’m looking forward to enjoying lunch here again and also spending time in the bistro area, which looks so warm and cozy with its inviting fireplace.
