I didn't try the chocolates, but they looked very good, just like the great selection of cakes. I ordered the steak with new potatoes and vegetables, and it was delicious. The dish was beautifully cooked, hot, and tasted like a home-cooked meal. The main course was priced at £10.95, which may seem a little expensive, but in my opinion, it was worth it. For an additional £3, they offer a starter or dessert, which would have been a nice touch, but I was already full. The decor is a bit old-fashioned, but the restaurant was clean and the staff were extremely friendly. It's refreshing to find an independent restaurant in a world dominated by fast food chains. The location is central as well. I would definitely recommend this place.
