I don't know who is making the fries and onion rings but whoever they are is absolutely killing it.I've never had fries poutine onion rings as good as at The Real McCoys out of the 6 times I've been there the fries has rocked my world. It turns any of my bad days into a good one knowing that I can drop by here on my way home from work. View all feedback.
What Naweed Habib doesn't like about The Real Mccoy:
Saw this location open up decided to try it. Theres alot of customers so theres a long wait which is expected as it is a new location. I got a poutine, cheeseburger, and a slice of cheese pizza. The prices were actually not bad at all. The pizza slice was huge and it wasnt bad. The poutine was average and the cheeseburger was also average. It wasnt something to be amazed at. Food is okay for the price. View all feedback.
I visited the Real McCoy for the first time after hearing all the buzz, and I can honestly say I was not disappointed! I ordered the mojo burger combo with onion rings, and they were absolutely fantastic. The onion rings are definitely the best in the city, and the burger was incredibly delicious. In fact, my sister and I liked it so much that we went back just two days later! I highly recommend this place. George, the owner, is a real gem, and it's clear that he takes great pride in his business. I’d also strongly recommend trying the chocolate milkshake—it’s perfectly balanced and not overly sweet.
I had an amazing experience today. After placing my order, I realized I had forgotten my wallet at home, which is about a 20-minute drive away. As my son and I were about to leave to retrieve my wallet, the kind gentleman at the cash register brought us back inside and offered to take our order, saying I could return to pay later. It’s rare to encounter such outstanding customer service. Thank you, George and team. We will definitely be lifelong customers!
The homeburger has a nice charcoal flavor, which I appreciated, but it was a bit drier than I would have preferred. The French fries were cooked just right, but they were somewhat bland unless you added salt or ketchup. The service can be quite slow during peak hours, so be ready for a long wait, which often extends well outside the door. Food: 3.5/5 Service: 1.5/5
The team has revived the classic Scarborough burger joint, and they're still serving the beloved pizza too! The burgers are delivered quickly, the onion rings are fantastic, and I absolutely love the cheese pizza. It’s just like you remember from the original, but now there’s more seating available!
I noticed this new restaurant had opened and decided to give it a try. It was quite busy, which is understandable for a new place, so there was a bit of a wait. I ordered poutine, a cheeseburger, and a slice of cheese pizza. The prices were actually quite reasonable. The pizza slice was large and decent, while the poutine and cheeseburger were both average. Overall, the food is satisfactory for the price, but nothing extraordinary.
