Mfc Group The - Scarborough

This restaurant used to be a Mary Browns but now they serve chicken and burgers. I tried the Butcher Style burger combo, which consisted of a typical frozen burger and frozen fries with a crispy coating. The food was unremarkable and I do not plan on returning. The seating consists of a long picnic style bench that looks a bit dirty. I am curious to see how long this place will last, especially with a KFC just down the road.

We stumbled upon this diner on our way home and were intrigued by the sign out front boasting the best burgers this side of Buffalo, NY. The restaurant was spacious, clean, and provided excellent service. We were warmly greeted by a friendly man who resembled Harvey Keitel from 1994. Both my husband and I ordered burgers that were incredibly fresh and clearly homemade, as they were not greasy and had great flavor. The burger ingredients were also very fresh. We believe this place is superior to Lick's and we plan on returning for either the fish and chips or maybe even breakfast. We feel the east end could really use a spot like this - it's a true winner!
