McDonald's - Scarborough

The staff at this restaurant had trouble getting our order right, making mistakes four times before finally getting our coffee. Unfortunately, when we did receive it, the coffee was cold. Additionally, the staff seemed unfamiliar with how to prepare items from the menu. Despite these challenges, it was the only establishment open in the area at 10:00 pm.

Great service staff friendly and meal was hot and very delicious. Always pleased eating at this location

This review is for 2019 12 09 12:50pm. This looks like a typical McDonald's except the seating area looks more modern. There are 3 self order kiosks or you can do a mobile order. There is a separate pickup area from the order counter. There are 3 seating areas with live TV in 2 of the areas. There is a children's playroom that seems to be sound isolated. There are separate male/female washrooms that are accessible. Where they lost one star is in the men's washroom, the (sitting toilet wasn't working and the sign says to use the washroom across the hall (ie, the women's washroom not sure how that will work! . Also 30% of the washroom floor was wet. It is probably because they just washed the floor but they should dry it to prevent slipping! There is free WiFi. There is a private parking lot.

We have been going to this neighbourhood McDonald’s (warden and sheppard, Toronto Ontario) location for over 20years. We have had our kids celebrate their birthdays and many other things at this particular location. Service used to be good many years ago then got worst. Recently they have hired this new manager who is in training. His name is JASON an Asian young guy. Unfortunately he is terrible with customers and his staff. Last time we were in with our friends, he was very rude to some kids just trying to have a little fun. And we also heard him yelling at a young cashier. Since that experience we have decided not to go to this location anymore especially for kid’s parties and family/friends get together. Also the other managers like Vithu don’t really care much about customer service. But Jason is worst. Hope the corporate office follows up on our feedback as we parents are planning to file an official complaint to higher sources and post our experiences in social media. The experience we encountered with this new manager Jason is just unacceptable.
