Lots of choices. Authentic Greek pastries. Good value - they will give you cutlery if you want. They also have coffee - although no place to sit. The rice pudding is the best I've ever had. The baklava - amazing. It is reasonably priced. View all feedback.
What Ian GlynWilliams doesn't like about Kostas Greek Bakery:
Yesterday, I was surprised with a half dozen wonderfully looking and smelling oversized, sugar coated donuts. I enthusiastically bit into one. Unfortunately, it seemed stale ?. Also, I was left with an odd taste in my mouth after eating the bite. I stopped at the one bite. View all feedback.
Is certainly not in the center of toronto, but the typical Greek sweets are excellent, especially if drunk with a good Greek coffee
We spotted this bakery while eating nearby, and dropped in to look around. We purchased some of their pastries, and brought them back to the hotel. We enjoyed them so much, that we decided to return to this bakery before leaving Toronto.Their baklava was the best we've had anywhere. We tried several other pastries that were all excellent. The one that really stood out was called a triangle, and was out of this world. We took a dozen home to share with a neighbor and family. In our opinion, this place exceeds some of the well known Mediterranean and Middle Eastern bakeries in New York City. When we visit the Toronto area again, we definitely plan on returning here.

If you normally trek to the Danforth for your Greek desserts, you should consider Kostas instead.
