Hakka Number 1 Restaurant - Scarborough

Ordered the Wing / Beef Chow Mein combo, Kung Pao Shrimp with Peanuts, Beef with Black Bean sauce (comes with rice). Always excellent value, decent portions, quality ingredients. Wing / Chow Mein combo is a great "2 item" dish. Seriously, enough for 2 people or dinner, and take home the rest for lunch the next day.3 dishes fed 5 people.

Love this place! Generous food and great tasting!!! I can't say enough about this restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. Love the soups. Love the Pakoras. Love the Bombay Chicken. You've got your classics like, Singapore noodle and "young chow" fried rice. There are mild dishes as well as different levels of spicy-ness. You have to try the Bubble Tea. Great flavours!!! Very affordable considering the portions you get!! Hurry up and Go!

Horrible service...food is run of the mill and too much salt. Was given the incorrect noodles and not rectified...waste of a dinner out! Worst Hakka!

My husband and i frequent this restaurant at lunchtime, and occasionally for a quick supper when neither of us feels like cooking. We've enjoyed their chicken won ton soup and spicy garlic chicken without the sauce which is called the dry version. Their Singapore noodle is also very good. The food is consistent in taste. The portions are generous. It's a great place for good food. It's also easy on the pocket book. A nice surprise in this area of town. C.Pare

Food was served fairly quickly There was a lot of food on the plate -we had take out boxes. Food was great! Flavours were spot on...of Hakka Food. SPICY and yummy.
