Finding parking is always very challenging here, as the mall is surrounded by 2 plazas. Spots close to the restaurants are almost always occupied, especially during meal times. Food court is great for cheaper, delicious Chinese food, eat in or takeout. Good value for your money! Food court closes late (past 10 pm) most days, depending on which restaurant too. Full Chinese restaurant too with its own takeout ordering.... View all feedback.
What Katie T doesn't like about Chartwell Shopping Centre:
November 6th Monday at 2 pm. Non peak hour. The female staff at the phone booth in middle of food court did not even bother to answer any question. She kept reading from her phone. She did not bother to look up when customer approached. Not bothered to move from her seat at all. Definitely did not care if she had business at all. Good luck to her employer! She really does not like her job. View all feedback.
Great plaza with lots of shopping, food, and restos. Also one of the few places for EV charging in Scarborough.

Had the best sweet and sour pork from canton kitchen with vegetables!!!!!!!
I recently visited Chartwell Shopping Centre, and overall, it was an okay experience. The shopping center has a decent selection of stores, ranging from popular fashion brands to specialty boutiques. While the staff was generally friendly, I didn't find them to be particularly attentive or helpful. The atmosphere was lively, but it did feel a bit crowded and chaotic at times. The food court had a decent variety of options, but the quality was nothing exceptional. While it wasn't a bad experience, it also didn't quite meet my expectations. I'd say Chartwell Shopping Centre is worth a visit if you're in the area, but it may not be the top choice if you're seeking an exceptional shopping experience.
The food court restaurants here are great. Pricing is phenomenal. I had bitter melon on rice with tea for under $10. You can order a dinner for three for $27.
