Basilico Italian Bistro - Scarborough

When we lived in Toronto we would enjoy eating here as the food was excellent, prices good, proprietor kind and proud of his offerings. We now live in Mississauga and keep Basilico on our list of favourites.

I remember when this place opened and thought WOW great italian food in someones house. I move away for 8 years to Alberta and when I moved back to Ontario I was hoping it was still open and IT WAS.I have turned on a few friends to this place and they also love it.Homemade italian and not too expensive and the owner is very friendly and I will keep going back to Basilico Italian Bistro whenever I am back in the old neighbourhood.

My wife and I went to Basilico for lunch a couple of weeks ago. I had the hot veal sandwich and my wife had the eggplant sandwich. Both were excellent. The owner of the restaurant is extremely friendly and helpful and so is his staff. I highly recommend this restaurant.

A charming spot located on Victoria Park that I must have walked by countless times without ever noticing it was there. A cozy little gem south of Pleasant.
