McDonald's - Scarborough

Love the Truffle Cheese Gourmet Creation - the truffle aioli is just full of flavour - though can do with a little more of it in the burger.Have had this several times, both as dine-in & as take away. Some of the burgers had more aioli than others. More is good - definitely!Clean restaurant.Can usually find a quiet corner to enjoy the burger creation & the Barista made coffee which is good quality.

While the service over all was quite good the cleanliness was very poor.I have visited this store very often for many years for work and private outings.It has been almost 12mths since my last visit and I was shocked when I entered the store with my extended family on Mothers Day 2016.The overall look was dreary and dark but the main thing was to floors were not clean and also had grease on them in some areas.Watching the staff cleaning the tables I noticed that they gave a quick wipe in the center and most of the time missed the corners and edges and rarely wiped the seats. The large rubbish was cleaned often from the floors but poorly swept and I don't recall the floors being mopped at any time during our approx 2 hr visit. The ladies bathroom was also very dirty with stains in the bowls, paper and ??? water on the floors. Lastly the change table in the Parents area was loose, dangerous and unable to be used. A very disappointing visit overall sadly.

This maccas is quite large and has a great playground and eating area for families who have children. There is also a cafe inside. I have used the drive through quite a few times over the years that I lived in the area and generally speaking it can get quite busy but I was never given the wrong order or spoken to rudely by a staff member.

I have not been to McDonald's for many many months...what a change! I can pre-order with the user friendly touch screen, large and colourful...I didn't need to wear my glasses, you pay and hey presto! The menu has changed dramatically, lots of healthy choices as well as the original menu. The service was quick, the staff polite and helpful. I never thought I would be recommending the Redcliffe McDonald's restaurant...but I do now.

The Cafe section at this McDonald's is outstanding. The Cafe staff always pleasant and helpful. They even have table service where they bring your coffee and food to you. It's easy to see that the owner of this restaurant has many very dedicated staff. It is the best McDonald's I have dined in by a long way.
