Our first time at this restaurant but it differently won’t be our last. The ambiance of the place transported us back to our time in Italy; the service was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. The Food; the food was again authentic, delicious and mouth-watering. The menu had plenty of choice, not extensive but enough to choose from; washed down with some excellent wine from the bar. Outstanding night. Treat... View all feedback.

This restaurant has rave reviews on the internet, so we went with high expectations, but unfortunately were disappointed. although we booked a week in advance, our table was right next to the kitchen with bright lighting and little ambiente, but the service was very good. we got the choice of the cook that was sweet and crispy for us, but rather tasteless, a la la la lanterna focaccia not a traditional focaccia brot, more like a crisp oily flatbread with cheese, which was also quite bland and tasteless, a crisp focaccia that was not very dry and that we had not at all a crisp
Relaxed and casual, but tasty! antipasto has brought us directly to italien. fish of the day was great. pannacotta dies. walked to bellisimo on the beach!
This was my third visit to lanterna and it was a very pleasant experience. the water is served at the arrival without having to request it. the thin fokkachie with spring onions entré was charming rustic. I had the fussili with velvety heaps and prawns, which a tender portion and tasted wonderful. the gartensalat composes it perfectly. the panna cotta served with rich chocolate sauce was light and tasty. the table service was good and the ambiente vivid and relaxing. I'm going back to the finals.
Probably the best Italian restaurant on the half island. menu could be bigger, but everything is homemade and their kitchen is very small. authentic aromen, focaccias and pastas are the best we ever had. I wish I could find the cheese they use, its delicious. they are licensed, but I think they are also byo. small weinlist (never heard by one of their wee tbh), but the premium red wine was amazing
I live in the united kingdom, but my sister lives in the Redcliffe area. I have recently put an order through her deli for the birthday of my sister. alex was brilliant to deal with it, he was very quick to react to emails. my sister received her selection of cheese and salami and was very satisfied with the quality and the sortiment of delicious food. I'm a little jealous that I won't come to taste something from eating for myself. Alex, I'll be sure to visit when I'm back in oz.
