We visited this restaurant twice in the mai and loved eating. we have returned in november and not only the essential, they have saved us. we came from rom near... read more We visited this restaurant twice in the mai and loved eating. we have returned in november and not only the essential, they have saved us. we came from rom near midnight, tired and hungry and all our usual places were closed. they were... clean and pretty ready to close. when we asked if it was possible to eat something, they said only pizza or sandwiches, but that's all we had eaten while we traveled to scalea. when we said no thank you, the owner's wife said, how about steak? we said yes and young, we are glad that we did. we have one of the best steaks I've ever had, delicate and tasteful. the price was super reasonable. this evening is Monday and every place is closed, but they were hosting a huge birthday party and they invited us. I ordered steak again. the Argentine steak. my god, I wish I had such a place in California for steak. yes, there are good steaks in California, but not at this price! a beautiful restaurant with fantastic eating.

La piazzetta is a new restaurant at the southern end of the piazza. they have a beautiful new dining room assembled. now the city center has several excellent r... read more La piazzetta is a new restaurant at the southern end of the piazza. they have a beautiful new dining room assembled. now the city center has several excellent restaurants. we were greeted by a friendly welcome staff, sitting fast and getting drinks quickly. good was very, very good and was excellent worth for the money. we have eaten there twice and both males had the good service and excellent eating. we can't comment on how we had their main courts. I had a mushroom hamburger and zuppa di cozze and both were excellent. my daughter had both the thunfischsalat and loved him. my wife and the chicken-cold and was very happy. we also had their veggie side dish and tweeper rings and liked them both. all in all a nice addition to the city center dining scene.
