I wasn't expecting to find such a hidden gem in the sma... read more I had the pleasure of dining at this fine establishment last Sunday, and it was such a great experience. I wasn't expecting to find such a hidden gem in the small coastal town of Sawtell, but I did. Firstly the service was everything you want it to be. Welcoming and warm, but also casual and relaxed. For someone who will drink anything but never knows what I feel like...I was super appreciative of Bianca taking control and dishing up a myriad of delightful cocktails. The food was absolutely on point too. Clean, well thought out dishes with lots of freshness and finesse. The meats were cooked to perfection to accompany the veg heavy dishes, which is the way I like it. To come away from a meal where you are perfectly full, not button poppingly bloated is an art form that not all restaurants pull off. I found out during the meal that they were down 2 chefs, and was blown away at how co-owners Ric and Bianca worked together to fight through what must have been a nightmare for them. The whole experience was a real treat. From the service, to the food, to the drinks, to the incredibly well mixed music they had playing throughout their cosy space. I highly recommend if you are ever in this part of the world to come and check it out.
