San Rocco - Savoca

Ho avuto il piacere, con alcuni amici di gustare una cena in questo bellissimo posto che gode di un panorama mozzafiato.Il cibo, preparato dallo Chef Francesco è stato di eccelsa qualità, sono rimasto veramente contento anche della visita dello Stesso su Mia richiesta, perchè intendevo congratularmi per le squisitezze che il Mio palato aveva gustato.Complimenti allo Staff ed un arrivederci Cheff

Stunning location, traditional rooms, fantastic food and a quiet retreat from busier parts of Sicily. Worth a visit and great walking distance to Savoca bar vitelli etc. The only issue we had was that at dinner we were asked if we wanted wine but not given a list, so when we said we would have Red wine we were given a small glass and was not asked throughout our meal if we wanted any more wine or shown a wine list so we could order more. There were no prices on the food we ordered (food was great but after ordering we were left alone the rest of the meal with no offering of another glass or if we were ok) and it was very awkward when the manager/chef came out and walked around offering refills to all the tables around us and even though we tried to get attention of the waiter they forgot about us, The staff were very friendly but not knowing the price of our food and wine we had until we checked out was strange and even then we were not given a bill that broke it down. maybe the hotel is just for people who do not care about budget. The pool is a very steep walk away from the hotel and the sunbeds very cold even in the boiling heat, no-one else went in.

My boyfriend and I stayed one day at Savoca, we chose San Rocco randomly for dinner... and after a week spent travelling around Sicily we can say that experience we had at San Rocco was the sweetest one. Not only excellent food and wine, but the chef who was also playing piano, the great atmosfere, the nice stuff... also, chatting with the owner who has beautiful life story behind the hotel and the restaurant... Dinner at San Rocco our best recommendation for the sweetest Sicilian memories
