We had an excellent and amazing dining experience at the restaurant MTDC Mayura. When we visited the day after Ganesh Chathurthi 2021, no seafood or non-vegetarian dishes were available in any restaurant in Harihareshwar. The vegetarian thali, rotis, masala papad, and sweet lime soda were all simple and incredibly delicious. The food was reasonably priced and the service was very fast. Overall, it was great value for... View all feedback.

It should be your last choice to eat here might as well ask for the locals around the temple to cook for you or go to srivardhan , diveagarh to eat some really tasty seafood. View all feedback.

The view is stunning. The food is just about ok. The room service and wait times are long. This serves both veg and non veg options. Thali (Rice plate combo) meals are also available. Prices are reasonable. Limited breakfast options.Fried Pomfret, chappatis, Indian- Chinese food was good.
This Restaurant is being run on Contract on an MTD Property at Harihareshwar, Maharashtra. Just on the edge of a Rocky beach gives it a fantastic location and it offers excellent view of the sea. On the food part though, the offerings are fairly average & traditional. MTDC is yet to exploit the location of this resort and properly promote it. It offers very basic items - typical South Indian (Udipi items) & some traditional Marathi cuisine. All items are cooked fresh as it hardly has any guests on week days or in non-holiday season. Inventories of raw material are also limited and one runs the risk of getting things exhausted, if late. Service is good. 1st Floor (which obviously has a better view) is still unutilised. The restaurant does not have a Bar as of now (but it is planned, being told).
Visited Harihareshwar after a gap of 5-6 years and if you really want to have the best location to enjoy peace and quiet, it undoubtedly has to be Harihareshwar. What's got better:Premier Suite rooms- recently built, definitely more spacious, cleaner and perfectly positioned to give you and almost panoramic view of the sea side but still poorly finished rooms, small kitchen with nothing but a fridge.New restuarant where the food is a decent fare but most items mentioned on the menu are either not usually served. Overall still a fairly good selection of vegetarian food. What's not changed:Civic sense still does not prevail, very dirty water front littered with broken bottles, plastic bottles, tetrapak and finished packets of chips, eatables line all the walkways to the beach. Never saw any of the staff involved in any cleanliness drive neither any strict vigil to ensure trespassers are not allowed to litter the area. Almost no mobile network and signal is on 'Edge' rather than 3G or 4G.Overall, when there is so much talk of Digital India, development of coastal tourism, there is very little that is done by the local administration to support the locals who inhabit the area. The waterfront can be developed into an absolutely splendid promenade. However MTDC still has one of the best spots in the region and being in this prime location with great scenery which is a visual treat is simply what makes MTDC-Harihareshwar a great trip. Still a great option if you are on budget as this is definitely one of the good resorts around.
The cafe offers beautiful view of Mountain and I am unsure whether it was sea facing or not when I stayed. The food was good and you can feel local flavour in the food.
