Nicky's Pizzaria - Savannah

Absoutly amazing! Great customer service and great prices. A must for pizza to go to Savannah!

I've been visiting this restaurant a few times over the past month since my last review, and I'm pleased to say that the wait times have improved. Perhaps they've found their rhythm? I'm not entirely sure, but it's definitely a positive development. The food quality remains consistent with the timing, and it's truly a gem, as it's the only great pizza spot along the Chatham Parkway route.

This restaurant is delightful! Their pizza is absolutely fantastic, and the chicken Parmesan is heavenly. I enjoy dining in and getting delivery from here. I've recently moved into a new apartment nearby, so this will definitely be my go-to spot for Italian food! The atmosphere is charming and cozy, and their cheesecake looks delicious as well. It's wonderful to know that everything is homemade too. So tasty! ❤️

Edit: I have been back since my first review and they are better at consistently providing good service. I added a star to my original review. Let me first say that the pizza itself is delicious. My family is from New York City, and I make a pilgrimage at least once a year back to the birthplace of American pizza to get a taste of the good stuff. I know how to taste real NYC pizza, and this place is the closest thing you can get in Savannah. This means that the service in this place is incompatible as the new management has taken over. Several times I've changed, received and served by courtesy staff. Other times I was there to get pizzas, and I was the owner of a mysterious necessary gravitation that seems to appear and disappear after their mood. One time, I gave almost one of her workers who looked embarrassing during one of these interactions, a five she had as her boss. You can also be a feeling for how rude the owner can be by commenting on some of these reviews. Overall, the place is good, but I wish the customer experience was better.

When I cut into my Chicken Parmigiana, I was impressed by how moist it was; it practically melted in my mouth. It was perfectly cooked, seasoned unexpectedly well, and had just the right amount of crunch. The homemade marinara sauce was also outstanding, and the portion sizes, given the price, were fantastic. We would highly recommend Nicky’s to anyone looking for great Italian cuisine.
