The restaurant has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and I was impressed by its cleanliness. I expected it to be much busier when I walked in. The staff is attentive and hardworking, and the menu offers a wide variety of options. I tried the turkey panini, which I’ve included a picture of in my review. To my surprise, that was only half of the sandwich, as the portions are quite generous. I will definitely be back!
To me, the most important, or at least the first most important part about where to have breakfast, is the coffee. Enter Blends in Savannah which, by its very title built up high expectations, all of which were met, especially paired with the manydelicious vegetarian options available. Blends is a coffee-forward establishment whose staff is knowledgeable and directed metowards the drip coffee I wanted based on my expressed preference for a bold dark roast. I had the Brazil and was very happywith it. My thought her Lavender latte (made with oat milk was also delicious. They had lots to choose from to eat forvegetarians which made it a great place for us to go before a full day of exploring Savannah. I had a biscuit sandwich withfried egg and cheddar. The hashbrowns were a little undercooked and I needed to add salt and pepper (available in packets tomake it taste okay. The sandwich was good though. I loved that the side of fruit was all berries. (I get a bit meloned out withthe sides of fruit you get at a lot of places. My wife had a mini quiche with spinach and feta which she thought was good andlight, and the gluten-free banana bread she had was perfect. We sat next to the industrial-looking coffee roaster which wascool to look at, but they did decide to clean it out with a large vacuum while we were sitting at the table directly next to it.(Would have been thoughtful for them to wait for that table to clear so that wasn't to audibly fun. Overall we liked what wehad here a lot and, if in Savannah again, would love to come again.
