Feedback
520 Wings offers a budget-friendly menu with flavorful wings, fresh seafood, and standout items like Cajun Ranch wings and tropical lemonade. While the wings receive consistent praise for quality and seasoning, some customers find portion sizes small and the dine-in space cramped, making takeout preferable. Service experiences vary, with many noting friendly and prompt staff, though occasional issues with order delays and inattentive employees have been reported. Despite some inconsistencies, the food’s taste, affordability, and late-night hours keep patrons coming back, especially during events and weekends. Online ordering is recommended to avoid long waits.
I rarely make a review and has to be pretty bad. Being I cook this was one time I needed to. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak with wings and fries and the cheesesteak was so salty I couldn’t eat it. The fries were so salty I couldn’t eat and the wings had a sauce that was god but had so much vinegar it was like eating a sour patch kid. Really sad I need to make a review but this was so bad
Their food truck supplying the mill with services is a scandal. I got chicken straps cooked in burnt oil and soft moisture fries no seasonings and had no drinks available. $10 for grease flavored chicken and soggy potatoes is a crying shame. On top of standingnin line for 30 minutes to get that poor excuse for a meal.
We placed an online order at 345 for the wings to be ready by 515....one and a half hours! Why would you offer an online service for ordering if it has no bearing on receiving them in a timely manner. Still sitting here waiting at 545. We had even left a tip prior to pickup which seems like a waste of money now. Would never order from here again.
I like 520 Wings. I like the tavern better. The wings are good but they are small. If you are of a larger stature then 6 wings is going make you angry or hungrier. The shrimp and fish items are tasty and reasonably priced. As a matter of fact, EVERYTHINGis inexpensive on the menu. The salads are a hidden secret for the price. I just got hyped to the funnel cake fries $4.99 diabetes here I came). Let's not talk about the lemonades. They are truly Southern, very delicious filled with sweet. I seediabetes when I look at the cup but we all gotta take a risk, sometimes. hahaha) This wing joint isn't for the bougie/bourgeoisat heart. The customers are from ALL different walks of life. That's alright with me. I can move around into any room. However, the dine-in area is the size of a walk-in closet. So, take-out is the better option. The owner is a real cool dude. If you havea compliant he will definitely make it right, as well as one of the managers. The staff is young and on the up! So, you will seea new face often, just make a new friend. This location is open really late on the weekends, plus it can get crowded. If yourbudget needs a stretch, then 520 Wings is a budget pleaser. Online ordering is up and running most of the time! I advise you touse it! In-person waits can be a marathon.
The wings are great BUT the attitudes of the staff take away from the food MAJORLY. For example (yesterday Aug 12), how is the customer supposed to know you're speaking to them when you're back is turned? And just overall the people at the register haveno welcoming personalities nor do they appear to want to be at work. I get it, customer service can suck most of the time but ifthe customer isn't being rude why not put forth the effort into making the customer feel like you want them to be there? Thestaff need more training in the professionalism department. And most recently the health department scored them with a 70 (didnot know that until AFTER I got my food). You guys used to be better than this. Idk what happened but yall need to turn itaround.
