Twisted Teahouse - Savage

Sadly this location has closed. I actually spoke to the owner and she said they hope to open again soon. I was disappointed as I had a whole plan for a day of Christmas shopping starting at that store. I'll be on the lookout for another location.

HIGHLY recommend !! If you’re in the severn/ savage maryland area and you like tea ! I had my friends bridal shower there and we loved the tea , the sandwiches were delicious and so were the desserts ! Angela is the owner and she is an absolute doll to work with ! Very accommodating! The space for a tea party is quite quaint and personal. Recommend a 15 guest party at the most. they have a modern grass background for photo opt and a beautiful flower decor wall. If you have a party you won’t need many decorations maybe just a banner for the wall and that’s all because it’s already so beautifully decorated! The waitresses were also very efficient and accommodating! If i lived in the area I would frequent here more often.

I grabbed some tea from here about 3 months ago, I had never tried loose tea so I was skeptical. Today I tasted this tea and it is now my new favorite! I forgot what flavor I got because it was a flavor of the month special. But I will be going back for more delicious tea very soon!

Doesn 't matter how great your product if those who sell it have failed the almighty customer service test yes it still exists) then I won 't be back. Case in point: I called this shop 3 times to ask about a product and a voice comes on intimating they are too busy to take the call Wednesday afternoon at Savage Mill? Highly questionable). I drive over only to find the employee popping gum, laughing and chatting away on her phone. I was not a happy woman. Not a soul was in the store or in the Mill). Can I help you, she asked? Phone call still in progress. No but you can help your employer and show some regard, I said as I walked away. Store looked somewhat interesting but waaaaay overcrowded with stuff. I won 't be back!
