Romy is a talented cook. His wife who is in the room welcomes you with a smile. Their kitchen is simple but good, the dish of the day of good quality. they innovate with a salty and sweet cookies corner, homemade...a top treat. Don't hesitate to stop it, you won't be disappointed View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about L'esperance:
I don't want to shoot the sick car, but the price is unjustified. 14€ for a very limited choice for starter. leeks vinaigrette, piemonte or Greek mushrooms no main choice. that or nothing else. no choice for dessert. apfel or banane. an empty room, now I know why. View all feedback.
As always, I went there on a Thursday (1 december) and had téte de Veau !! which was divine !!!. Served with fresh cooked veg and a sauce maison . I had the full menu which included self service Buffet, main course, cheese, dessert, and Wine !, all for 12.20euros. !!!!!
I have eaten here a couple of times, and always on a Thursday as it is the day they do a Téte de Veau Maison !!. The Menu with wine included is 12.20 a head !!!.
A bit out of the centre but well worth a visit if you want to experience a true taste of France. Exceptional value for a 4 course lunch including wine. A great selection of Hors D'Oeuvres, followed by a choice of two traditional main dishes, I sampled the Veal, then a whole plate of cheeses, eat as much as you like and a tasty dessert. All washed down with a couple of glasses of local wine. The Rochedreuxs are very welcoming and warm hosts and lots of locals are eating at L'Esperance creating a nice atmosphere! All for around £10! No frills but very very French Superb!

This March 3 at noon, we went to hope especially to taste the veal head. it is offered on the 1st Thursday of the month in the menu of the day to 14€ with a small supplement of 2€. To say true, at this rate, I did not expect miracles, but we ate well! the buffet of the entrances offers a limited choice (salle and superimi), but everything is very fresh. bread is so good that we should become a sword and butter is at will. the famous calf head deserves its reputation: it is delicious and generously served. the two cheeses that followed were impeccable, as well as the chocolate mousse with a photocopier that closed the lunch. I saw the pass of the basquaise chicken plates that were also appreciated and there was also language for amateurs. with regard to drinks, it may be regretted that, as well as water, the wine (included in the price of the menu) is present on the tables: it is drinkable, but a little medium. I don't know if there's any more in the reserve. I'm not talking about appetizers or coffee, because we didn't take it. the atmosphere of the restaurant is pleasant, the décor is simple but the two rooms are very clean and even nicely bombed. the service is affable and fast without however feeling downhill. unlike what a contributor wrote in June 2020, we did not hear for our part neither gauloiseries nor displaced words, but the customers did not speak to low voices in summary, even if it is of course not to come here for a gastronomic-romantic header, here is a neighborhood address as we would like to have more: it is joyous, it is friend. If we lived closer, we would also be accustomed to it! good to know: the restaurant doesn't open in the evening, there is a nice biscuits bar at the entrance.
