First I was born and raised in Ober Michigan, where fish forces are a religion on Friday night. I can count on one hand how often I didn't eat fish on Friday. I know my fried Haddock. Green Acres is by far the best Haddock-fruit I've ever had. It was nice to sit in the spacious bar and relax with a beer while my son had a children's cocktail and we're on the free Gardeto's in the bar. Waiting was a perfect 30 minutes. We ordered squids, salad bars and cheese curds. Dinner comes with a fresh bread and for the first time in my life.... the butter pats were room temp and spread....thanks!!! Water was given automatically, I didn't have to remember to ask her. Fish was the best I ever had. 3 giant pieces with French fries. Flaky and cooked all the way, thick cut beer broken! Delish! Most daring Koleslaw. Cheese curds were white and yellow cheese and a huge dish full. Salad bar offers Cheddar cheese you can cut with a large basket of a variety of crackers. Can't say enough good about this place. Bill? $26.86. I'll be back and spread the word to everyone I know. There were big tables. Service was great. The staff was cool, quiet and collected, despite the fact that this smell was full. I could say they knew her stuff. You never had to ask for a refill. Bar also had a cocktail waitress making rounds. Decor is exactly what I like, old school breaker club and I like it. Everyone who comes to the north knows it is. Well made Green Acres, well made!!!

On Monday at 5 p.m. we arrived at my favorite place on the upper floor our waitress Bailey was great, we ordered the fish and it was as good as ever. I couldn't remember the new wine I tried when we were there last month, I said to our waitress 11 hands she laughed and said that you meant that 14 hands we laughed, our food came fast and was great. We have been with Green Acres for years and are never disappointed, Bailey you are a fantastic waitress to anyone who has the names of several different wines and explain to me a not great wine drinker, like any taste is no easy task, thank you again and we will be back soon!

We have come here for years. Came out tonight to try it since it was sold to a new family. I am happy to report it is the same wonderful place. Fantastic food, Service to match. Worth the drive!
