Village Pizzeria - SAUGERTIES

Extremely rude, nastiest man ever encountered in any public business behind the register on 10/01/21 friday evening. Vile tone of voice and behaviour after we politely asked one question. He grabbed a menu off the wall and flung it at us. Totally unprovocked by us! Shocking. This was no way to act with a Lady present. Everyone has a bad day but clearly this hot headed 30 something year old acts like an owners or relatives son that hates his job and knows he can't be fired. Anger Management issues need to be addressed at Village Pizza. i

I used to order here 1-2 times a month, because the pizza is really good. But I had a pretty bad experience picking up an order tonight. I usually get the Country style pie here but my order was put in as a cheese pie. The cashier rectified the mistake by getting the pie I ordered made, which was nice. But the guy that took my order kept insisting over and over that I said cheese, and wouldn’t budge. I’m %1,000 positive I said “Country style” as I’ve never ordered a cheese pie from them before. It’s not good business to insist your costumers are wrong. Unfortunately I’m taking a break and won’t be returning.

The owner is extremely disrespectful and mistreats their employees in front of customers. It seems they have a bad reputation in the community and among other businesses. The manager, who acts like a tough guy, clearly has some serious mental issues that are negatively impacting other businesses. The pizza is terrible, I will not be coming back and would not recommend this place.

We picked up our order of over 50.00. When we got home upset to find out our double order of wings was not there. The container we assumed had the wings instead chicken fingers/fries. : called she told us bring back the fingers meal and exchange for ours. 10mile drive no apology no other attempt to make up for long return trip. Nothing. Pizza good not 55.00 good with poor service.

I contacted the restaurant to inquire about reserving the back room for a party. I provided the time and date requested, and was informed that the information would be passed on to the appropriate person and that I would receive a call back. However, it has been 2 weeks and I have not received any calls. It seems like they have a habit of not returning calls. I have never patronized this establishment before, and after this experience, I definitely will not be doing so in the future.
