What Melanie Black doesn't like about Pilot Travel Center:
Got woken up to Pilot guy banging on the door. They said the spot I was in was prime parking, though there was no sign behind the spot and any paint on the concrete there might have been has worn off to the point you have to be practically standing on itto see it. Said I could park in a free spot but none were left by then. Charged $17 which is higher than most places. Do notrecommend this place. If I had known, I wo... View all feedback.
Far the worst customer service. I've ever experienced in a pf. So much cussing and on the phone watching videos. You all need a fresh new start with employees. The one's you have are not it.
The restaurant offers fantastic hamburgers, with their double cheeseburgers made from real beef that can easily satisfy you for a day or two. They also have a full buffet and the staff is very friendly. I enjoy stopping by for their hamburgers because you can be sure it’s quality meat, not some mystery meat. Additionally, they have facilities like five showers and six diesel pumps, although the parking isn’t the greatest. Still, it’s a decent place to park and take a nap during a 10-hour break. There are no slot machines, but the hospitality makes up for it.
I was disturbed early in the morning when a staff member knocked on my door. They informed me that the spot I was in was considered prime parking, but there was no visible sign indicating that. Any markings that may have been on the concrete had faded to the point where you would need to stand directly over them to notice. They offered me the option to park in a free spot, but by that time, none were available. I ended up being charged $17, which is more than I've paid at most other places. I cannot recommend this establishment. If I had known about the parking situation, I would have showered first and parked somewhere else. I won't be returning to this location.
The $16 shower was clean and had plenty of hot water. I grabbed some Arby's for dinner, and now I'm relaxing in bed, watching TV with free internet. The employees were friendly as well. I recommend stopping by and visiting!
