Was jose castaneda at King Made a mag?
I visited with my friends and we thought the food and service were very good, the atmosphere not so much because it gives an air of seriousness and we are a little scandalous. Overall, I highly recommend it. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 View all feedback.
What Tamara Lopez dislikes about King Made:
I do not recommend this place, it looks dirty and neglected, the food was very bad, the fruits looked half spoiled, the coffee was tasteless, you can tell that it is instant, the service is not that bad since the staff is friendly but slow because there is only one person. The prices seem high for the place and the taste, in general things are not worth it, you can get better breakfasts for a lower price in other pla... View all feedback.
This is my second visit and it just reaffirmed what I already knew. I love this little cafe. I’ve had the croissant sandwich, the french toast, and the chipotle chilaquiles, and they were all excellent. The croissant is buttery and rich with delicious filling and chips on the side, and is satisfying on its own. The French toast is made with their in-house nut pound cake (the portion looks small, but trust me, this dish is incredibly rich! and doesn’t even need syrup on top. The chilaquiles, at least the chipotle ones, have that strong chipotle flavor without being unbearably spicy, come with an egg on top, and are delicious. The portion is huge, too, and I couldn’t possibly finish them after having the French toast. Let’s talk service. I’ve never had a problem with the service here, the sweet waitress/hostess/barista is absolutely amazing and attentive each time. But now that I mention it, there are only two staff total. If you come here, make sure you understand that the service will be slow. If you are extremely hungry and impatient, I’d recommend a different joint. Personally, I don’t have a problem with waiting when it comes to yummy food, but I’d be remiss to not mention it. There is only one menu in the form of an iPad that gets passed around. Again, I never considered this a problem, but some might. There’s pictures of the menu here on Google, though, so plan ahead of your visit if you desire. Finally, the interior. Personally, I find it very charming inside. It is very clean and neat. The walls are a little cracked but that’s such a minor nitpick to make. Overall, I sing this cafe’s high praises. All the ‘bad’ things are simply not bad enough for me not to recommend this place. I love dining here and I can’t wait to visit again.
