The smokehouse offers some dishes on the menu that aren 't actually available, such as smoked salmon, which wasn 't announced beforehand, which was a real shame. We were also just planning to stop by for a quick bite to eat with six people, but three people at the table were refused a small portion of nuggets with fries because they were supposedly only kids ' portions, and otherwise (the waitress said, the place would have to close if they only gave adults small kids ' portions . After we were saddled with a large main course, we waited for our food. As described above, the food was delicious and the portions large. The waitress (black, long dark brown hair, glasses, smoky voice , who may also be the owner, was really friendly at first and immediately addressed everyone as sweetheart etc. The dogs were also taken care of. The people who had previously been sitting behind us left the room, and when new guests arrived, the waitress immediately addressed the guests with the phrase, I hope you 're not such a scum like the guests before you. This is when my bells rang for the first time: the couple behind us at the table were a friendly, older tourist couple who, as they said, were friendly. So I was shocked by such a statement from the waitress!!! There were six of us adults with two dogs. The bill was approximately €153, which was then rounded up to €160. The waitress 's mood changed from super friendly and cordial to dismissive and antisocial. She left, loudly declaring, That 's ridiculous, then I might as well stop waiting tables and go back to my office job, and sat down at the next table with another customer to gossip about us. Apparently, a €7 tip wasn 't enough for her. Which, in my opinion, is outrageous. Firstly, she had already forced larger portions on us, and secondly, a €7 tip is definitely enough for such a place and atmosphere. Thus, her behavior was more than intrusive and rude, and also extremely inappropriate. Apparently, her initially super-polite manner was just a little ploy to get as much tip as possible. Because you can 't call such behavior friendly, it 's just a big show to get money out of people 's pockets. Truly sad, because if you like hearty food and large portions, you 'll find it there, but bring enough tips, otherwise you 'll be the next topic of gossip for the place. We won 't eat there again, as such behavior is abysmal, and such waiters should definitely not be working there. You either love your job or you don 't! The good woman should probably get back to an office job if possible. She 's certainly better off there than with customer service.
