Had not visited the Garden Cafe at the Saskatoon Inn for many years, not sure why given that our meal last night was excellent. Ordered the chicken cashew bowl - arrived quickly and hot. More than your garden variety vegetables in this dish - baby corn cobs and waterchest nuts - a very pleasant surprise, served on a nice bed of rice. What User doesn't like about Garden Cafe & Lounge:
The place is a maze to get to, around the pool over the bridge, down the ramp, up some stairs, around the buffet, it's silly really. Once seated, the wait staff isn't terrible, but close to it, we sat and chatted for 20 minutes until our order was taken and it was 25 more til the food came. No wonder the buffet is such a popular option, it means you can eat in a timely manner. The food itself, bland and uninspired. N... View all feedback.
Needed a late dinner. It was open. But the cheesecake was the size of a canadian dollar. Other parts of the meal or OK< but overpriced.
Food was very bland and service was not the greatest,i personally would not eat here again for the price they are charging

More than your garden variety vegetables in this dish - baby corn cobs and waterchest nuts - a very pleasant surprise, served on a nice bed of rice. My dinner partner had the breaded ravioli which also arrived hot and had a delicious cream sauce, not to much garlic. Didn't think we could eat it all, but we did. Service was prompt, friendly and the young lady was knowledgeable about the menu. Speaking of the menu you should check it out.... a great selection of seafood, fish, steaks and some surprise items. Prices are very reasonable. Will be heading back there .... soon!
We recently went to Saskatoon Inn & Conference Centre for a conference & discovered this gem of a Cafe & Lounge. We returned 2 weeks later to see if it was as good as it looks. We were delighted. Beer cold & bubbly. Food fresh & well cooked and presented. We had the Lobster Croissant & the Inn Burger. The freshness was what captured us & well as flavor. Our waitress Sabine was attentive & knowledgeable & had a very pleasant cheerful personality.....this all will keep us coming back. Looking forward to trying the lamb shank next visit!
We ordered room service and received a lot of food for the money! Delicious, huge chicken club and fries! Worth the money!
