Living in Vancouver I'm a bit of a restaurant snob and wouldn't even consider eating at a BP when there are so many wonderful places to eat; however,
This Boston Pizza is very Dirty We had our beverages and left the seat benches are dirty even in the creases I had to sweep with my hand to clean the bench
Two of us shared a pizza (on special, get a large for the price of a medium), appreciated that you could order it on whole wheat, Pizza was brought out
We started contact with Don back in September, 2016 asking him about a February 18, 2017 event. This event was for our mom's 80th birthday party for 40 people. I left a message on Don's cell phone back in September letting him know of the function. I received a call back in January, 2017, he states 'wondering if you still need me for your February 18 function.' Wow, 5 months later.My sister from Calgary was in touch with him leaving messages since November, 2016 as she was in charge of the food. I just wanted Don to expect a call from her.She would leave messages and emails and replying back in December to her and he told her to fill out the firm online. She did do that day. Still not hearing back, she phoned and said, she hadn't heard from him and he asked for her date of the event and her name. She told him and he said he would get back to her with a quote. After weeks from not hearing back from him, she called me and told me her problems with Don and I said I would take over.I called him, I was not happy with how he was dealing with my sister and began questioning him about the event. He wanted to know which event, name and date. I reminded him once again and he said she wasn't getting back to him. She had sent me texts and emails she had sent. I told him this and he swore. Not at me but frustrated that I caught him in a lie. He promised me his wife would send a quote within 2 days. By day 5 with no quote, I texted him that we would no longer need his services. We got Chef Jenni and she wAs fabulous. We will not be using Agars corner again, which we had used numerous times. Very unprofessional.
Food was tremendously good, we were at a wedding at this location and it was relaxed, spacious, superbly catered and delicious food!

Agar’s Corner is where the magic began for my husband and I. We tied the knot there on June 22, 2019. We first met Don over a year before our wedding day and we are so grateful that we did! Don and Carmen showed us incredible hospitality and made us feel like family. Don generously allowed us to set up on Thursday and stay through Sunday for cleanup. Despite the forecast predicting rain all day, Don reassured us that he would do anything to help. Luckily, the rain cleared up just in time for our ceremony in his beautiful yard. Don was even accommodating when I wanted to bring in homemade desserts and cookies. He was never pushy with decisions and let us take the lead. Throughout the wedding night, he made sure everything ran smoothly and the venue looked impeccable. Don even joined us on the dance floor and celebrated with us, which meant a lot to us and our guests. Our friends and family have nothing but praise for the wonderful vibe of the wedding, the stunning venue, and Don and his team. If you are a couple who values family, excellent service, and friendship, don't hesitate to reach out to Don. He will surely take care of you. Our experience at Agar’s Corner was absolutely amazing.
We first contacted Don in September 2016 regarding an event on February 18, 2017 for our mother's 80th birthday party with 40 guests. Despite leaving a message on Don's cell phone in September, we did not hear back until January when he asked if we still needed him for the event. My sister had been in touch with him since November to organize the food, but after filling out the online form and not receiving a response, she called him multiple times with no success. When she informed me of this, I took over and called Don myself. He seemed confused about the event details and claimed my sister was not responding to him, even though she had shown me proof of her attempts to contact him. After promising a quote within 2 days, Don's wife never responded. After 5 days of waiting, I informed Don we no longer needed his services. We ended up hiring Chef Jenni, who was fantastic. We will not be using Agars corner again due to their unprofessionalism.
The food at this restaurant was excellent. We attended a wedding at this venue and found it to be relaxed, spacious, wonderfully catered with delicious food.
