No service at the table and you have to pay your food in advance when you order at the bar. OK, I can do this. When the food came, all the extra’s that we ordered (and payed for) were forgotten. The food was send back to the kitchen to fix it and when we got it back, it was stone-cold. They did not understood that we didn’t like that... I’m the easiest person to please with simple food, but this was a very bad experience for us. I never ever gave a review before but feel the need to warn people. We visited this beautiful country for over a month, but this was the worst experience by far...
Even though it didn't look anything special from the outside, it was on our way, just off the road and we decided to stay there overnight. What a nice surprise was waiting for us inside! Under shabby appearance was hidden rustic, unique little castle! Beams on the ceilings, hand carved furniture and cladding were creating a lovely medieval atmosphere. The staff was very friendly, served us out of working hours, and we really enjoyed homemade simple village food lamb stew was beautiful, chicken was nice as well. Prices are more than reasonable, clean and comfortable enough, would recommend if on the way!
What an awful restaurant. We arrived at 12h50 (ten minutes before opening) and they told us to wait outside (we are in the middle of December)! Run away from this place.
