The food was disappointing and the atmosphere was uninviting. I ordered pulled pork fajitas, but received a lukewarm pile of meat without shrimp or seasoning, and the plate was filled with a watery liquid. It was difficult to eat the fajitas without getting my hands soaked, and the vegetables were undercooked. The food here is consistently excellent and reasonably priced. You can't go wrong with the Wednesday burger special! I've been dining here for years because of the outstanding quality and generous portion sizes. I don't think we've missed a single Wednesday in four years for the burger special. The pulled pork with the spicy BBQ sauce is absolutely fantastic! Overall, I rate the food a 5, service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5.

One of the highlights was that Todd arrived early at the venue to put the finishing touches on the food instead of bringing it pre-cooked. He was friendly, respectful, and a pleasure to work with. It’s clear that he genuinely cares about the quality of his dishes. We couldn't have asked for better service, and when we return to Pittsburgh, we’ll definitely be making a trip to Smokin' Toads!
Excellent food, excellent prices, great service. No complaints here. One star off of atmosphere because of the sticky floors (due to the removed hard flooring I believe) Kid-friendliness: Everybody is super kind here and there's nothing that doesn't make it kid-friendly.
